I worked with Steve at UCI Bracknell in the 90s. We had very similar tastes in music and comedy and spent many a shift quoting lines from our favourite shows. He was always a good laugh and we would still meet up occasionally after he left the cinema, including a game at Twickenham where Italy were well and truly beaten. My thoughts are with his children, who he adored, and his family. He will be missed. To use a term from our favourite show to discuss, RIP Bonny Lad.
